About the Library System
The Washington County Library System was established in 1967, in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. The system serves a population of 62,977. It’s headquarters is the William Alexander Percy Memorial Library in Greenville, Mississippi. Branches are located in Arcola, Acon, Glen Allan, Hollandale, Leland, and Metcalfe.
Mission
The mission of the Washington County Library Sytems is to provide the community with materials in a variety of formats, services, and facilities to satisfy the need for information, facilitate lifelong learning, and to promote the use of the library.
